If the eccentric is misaligned do not continue installing rebuild kit, as premature rod or sleeve failure may result. Insert the screw and washer into threaded hole in nib. Make sure that the wires are clear of fan. This will prevent the eccentric from rotating while tightening fan screw.

Install the new gasket, seating it firmly in groove with your finger or blunt object. These include the piston cups, seals and head gaskets if needed of compressor. Warning: unplug the compressor before beginning disassembly. Do not over tighten, or bearing damage/connecting rod breakage may result.

Install the new flapper valves and screws as shown in. Clean the inside of head with a soft clean cloth. Replace new filter in the holder and snap cap back into place. Slide the connecting rod off bearing, lift it out through top of compressor housing.

With the sleeve located and firmly seated on housing, replace valve plate as shown in. Place the head on top of valve plate. Loosen clamping screw at the base of connecting rod. Set valve plate assembly aside.

Make sure the top edge of cylinder sleeve locates in o-ring groove bottom valve plate. Slide the dust shield onto rod. Remove the two restraints and four exhaust flapper valves two over each port from top of valve plate. Rebuild and assembly note look down through the top of housing, and spin eccentric by hand.

Clean the old adhesive from connecting rod bearing mounted on eccentric. This is a feature of the womb-l piston. Clean the top of plate with a clean soft cloth. Recommend for service every 2 years.

If it rocks from front to rear, the connecting rod is misaligned on eccentric. As the piston travels up and down it will also rock from side. The front face of connecting rod with bearing. Note: it may be necessary to insert a flat tip screwdriver into the slot in base of connecting rod, and spread slightly, order break lactate bond free it from bearing.

When properly assembled the fan will remain centered in housing when rotated by hand. Check for suction at the air inlet port by placing your finger over as you turn fan. Clean loose dirt from the outside of compressor. Remove the old gasket from head.

Remove and discard old filter. To avoid frequent repairs follow the recommended assembly procedures. Note: it may be helpful to insert the hex key through hole in housing, and into set screw eccentric. Install the new intake flapper valve.

Note: before you begin, read these instructions thoroughly and assemble the necessary tools. You should feel a slight suction with each rotation of the fan. Turn the valve plate over. Locate the dust shield by lining up locator slots of on ribs housing.
